Participant Ground Rules
ENTRANCE PASSES
All participants must have entrance and parking passes prior to entering the property. Make sure you have received your passes from the Games Committee or your group chairperson before the event. Persons without
passes will be subject to the normal admission or parking fees. There is no will call at the Livermore Games.
ENTRANCE & PARKING
There are two entrances to Robertson Park, from Arroyo Road at the west end
of the park, and from Concannon Boulevard at the east end.
Parking will be clearly signposted, so please follow directions and park in the designated lot only.
MOVE-IN/MOVE-OUT
Move-In: All participants are required to have setup of any tents, equipment, or drop off of materials completed prior to the public opening of the Games on Saturday and Sunday. Setup hours will be 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, and 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday.
Move-Out: Dismantling of exhibit space or equipment is not allowed prior to
5:30 p.m. on Sunday, at which time all materials must be removed by 7 p.m. Gates to the fenced area of the Park will be closed promptly, and any materials left on the property after that time will be removable only by making an appointment with LARPD staff.
VEHICLES ON PROPERTY
Due to the use of the entire Park for the Games, all vehicles must be parked in designated parking lots only throughout the Games. Participants may park their vehicles on the road next to the Vendor/Clan area to unload and load during the setup times mentioned above, but may NOT drive onto the grass. Please unload and remove vehicles promptly so as not to block fire lanes, and to give other participants a chance to set up. All vehicles on the Park grounds must be removed to designated lots by 9:30 a.m.
Speed limit is not to exceed 15 MPH. Vehicles not moved or in violation will be subject to fine.
OVERNIGHT STAYS
Robertson Park is a public park, and camping is not normally permitted. However, for the Games weekend, overnight RV camping is available on request. Please apply for a permit from LARPD. There are also several RV camping facilities within five miles of Robertson Park, and we will have a block of rooms reserved at our host hotel in Livermore.
NOISE
Robertson Park is surrounded by residential housing, so please be courteous to residents at all times and keep noise to a minimum, especially after
7 p.m. Any infractions will result in expulsion from the site and possible exclusion from future events.
SECURITY
Participants are solely responsible for the security of their equipment and
belongings while on the property. Security will be on site over the Friday and Saturday nights.
